No. This tool is an estimate from published terms. It is not a warranty decision. The only way to confirm manufacturer warranty is to call the manufacturer.

Model number and serial number. The tool reads the brand from those. The purchase date is optional, but it makes the result more accurate because manufacturer coverage usually starts on the original purchase date.

LG, Samsung, Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Amana, JennAir, GE, Hotpoint, Bosch, Thermador, Gaggenau, Frigidaire, and Electrolux. Those brands encode a manufacture date in the serial or production number in a way we can read. It does not yet read AEG, AGA, ASKO, Bertazzoni, Blomberg, Cove, Dacor, Fisher & Paykel, Haier, Hisense, Inglis, Kenmore, Magic Chef, Marvel, Miele, Moffat, Signature, Speed Queen, Viking, Westinghouse, or Wolf, because the serial does not encode a date we can read, or the published terms vary too much by model.
