These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (arsrepairs.com) and the appliance repair services we provide in South Florida, including Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. By scheduling a service, accessing our site, or engaging with our team, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

These Terms are designed to comply with Florida consumer protection laws, including those under Florida Statutes Chapter 501 (Consumer Protection) and relevant regulations for repair services. We are a licensed and authorized repair service provider in compliance with applicable state and local requirements, such as business registrations under Miami-Dade County ordinances and Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services guidelines.
1. Services Provided
We offer repair and maintenance services for laundry and kitchen appliances, including but not limited to:
- Washing machines (leaks, drainage issues, cycle errors)
- Dryers (noise, startup failures, ineffective drying)
- Refrigerators (temperature issues, noises, leaks)
- Ovens and ranges (uneven cooking, faulty burners, error codes)
- Dishwashers (cleaning performance, leaks, error messages)
- Microwaves (power failures, turntable issues)
Services may involve diagnosis, parts replacement, and labor. We service brands such as Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, Jenn-Air, and others. All work is performed by skilled technicians in compliance with Florida laws, including any applicable contractor licensing for gas or electrical work under Florida Statutes Chapter 489.
We provide 24/7 emergency services and same-day repairs where possible, serving areas like Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Hollywood, Coral Gables, Boca Raton, and more.
2. Appointments and Scheduling
- Booking: Schedule via phone, website, or email. We aim to confirm within 24 hours.
- Arrival Windows: Technicians arrive within specified time windows. Delays due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., traffic) may occur; we will notify you.
- Access Requirements: You must provide safe access to the appliance and premises. We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are unsafe.
- Rescheduling: No fee for rescheduling with 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations may incur a fee up to $50, as permitted under Florida consumer protection guidelines.
3. Estimates and Pricing
In accordance with Florida consumer protection laws (e.g., guidelines from the Florida Attorney General on repair services), we provide transparent pricing:
- Estimates: Upon request, we offer oral or written estimates before starting work. For repairs estimated over $50, or at your request, estimates will be in writing.
- Diagnostic Fees: We may charge a reasonable diagnostic fee (disclosed upfront, typically $75–$150 depending on appliance and location), which can be applied toward the repair cost if you proceed. This complies with Florida’s allowance for reasonable estimate fees.
- Approval for Changes: If the final cost exceeds the estimate by more than 10% or $10 (whichever is greater), we will obtain your approval before proceeding, as required by Florida repair guidelines.
- Upfront Costs: All pricing is quoted upfront, with no hidden fees. Costs include parts, labor, and any travel fees for remote areas.
4. Payment Terms
- Methods: We accept cash, credit cards, checks, and electronic payments.
- Due Date: Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed.
- Late Payments: Overdue payments may incur interest at the maximum rate allowed by Florida law (currently 18% per annum under Florida Statutes Chapter 687).
- Taxes: All charges are subject to applicable Florida sales tax.
5. Warranties and Guarantees
We provide a full warranty on parts and labor, in compliance with Florida Statutes Chapter 634 (Service Warranty Associations) and consumer protection requirements:
- Coverage: Parts are warranted for 90 days to 1 year, based on part type; labor for 90 days. This covers defects in workmanship or materials but excludes misuse, normal wear, or unrelated issues.
- What’s Included: If a warranted issue arises, we will repair or replace at no additional cost (parts and labor only; diagnostic fees may apply if unrelated).
- Exclusions: Warranties do not cover pre-existing conditions, unauthorized modifications, or failures due to neglect. Used or remanufactured parts (if used) will be disclosed in bold on estimates/invoices.
- Service Agreements: Any extended service contracts are provided under licensed terms, with full disclosures. You have the right to a complete sample copy before purchase. Cancellations: Full refund within 10–60 days (less claims/admin fees up to 5%), pro-rata thereafter, as per Chapter 634.
- Manufacturer Parts: We use genuine or equivalent parts, ensuring availability as required by Florida law (e.g., Florida Statutes s. 686.406 for equipment manufacturers).
- 100% Satisfaction Guarantee: If unsatisfied, contact us within 7 days for review; we may offer rework or partial refund at our discretion.
Replaced parts will be returned upon your request, as per Florida repair consumer rights.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Florida law (including under Chapter 501 prohibiting unfair practices):
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages (e.g., loss of food in refrigerators, property damage from leaks unless caused by our negligence).
- Our total liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
- We disclaim implied warranties beyond those expressly stated, except where prohibited by law.
- Force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters) excuse performance delays.
7. Cancellation and Refunds
- By You: Cancel anytime before work begins for a full refund of any prepayments (less diagnostic fees if incurred).
- By Us: We may cancel for safety reasons, non-payment, or misrepresentation, providing pro-rata refunds as required by law.
- Refunds: Processed within 45 days via original method, in line with Chapter 634 for warranties.
For automatic renewals (if applicable to extended warranties), we provide clear notice 30–45 days prior, with opt-out options, per Florida Statutes s. 501.165.
8. Privacy Policy

9. Dispute Resolution

- Governing Law: These Terms are governed by Florida law, with venue in Miami-Dade County courts.
- Arbitration: Disputes under $10,000 may go to small claims court. Others subject to binding arbitration in Miami under American Arbitration Association rules, as permitted by Florida law (no class actions).
- Consumer Rights: Nothing limits your rights under Florida consumer protection laws, including filing complaints with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms with 30 days’ notice via website posting or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
